At Toucan Employment we help people with learning difficulties and disabilities into employment so they can live fulfilled and independent lives.

Since 1989, Toucan Employment has worked with individuals and employers to promote the inclusion of disability in the workplace, providing much needed, life changing support that we tailor to meet the precise needs of both our job seekers and London employers.

Over the years we have built valuable and sustainable relationships with an extensive range of key stakeholders – employers, local authorities, service providers, foundations, trusts, philanthropists, like minded support organisations, parents, families and critically, our individual clients

What we do

• We find jobs for our clients in small and large businesses and organisations.

• We provide one to one support for our clients to ensure they are matched with the role they are best suited too.

• We help businesses recruit and retain new employees.

Our clients have successfully secured a range of jobs – working in everything from supermarkets and hotels to schools, kitchens, shops, galleries and theatres.

When they first come to us many of our clients have already had a job and they just need a small bit of support to get back into employment.

Others may never have worked or haven’t for several years. We line up work experience, support with CVs and interview skills and provide one to one coaching. The aim is to get our clients into sustainable, fulfilling employment.

We also get enquiries from employers who are seeking to recruit. Some are keen to have a more representative workforce. Others may have a personal link to disability and want our support
